Nick Martin here! I’m a theatre artist and administrator based out of Washington, D.C.

Currently, I serve as the Associate Artistic Director for Constellation Theatre Company, where I’ve been on staff since 2017. I’m primarily a director - and a Helen Hayes Award winning one, at that! But in all honesty, I’ll jump on just about any opportunity to help produce theater. I’ve acted, designed masks, costumes, and props, been a production manager, stitcher, and carpenter - you name it, I’ll give it a shot.

When I’m not in a theatre you’ll most likely find me either curled up with a good book (current reads: The Guest by Emma Cline, and The Late Americans by Brandon Taylor) or out at a concert. D.C. is packed with great venues but nothing beats the convenience of working on the same block as Black Cat.
